How the program works

Step 1 — Fix the soil
Apply Soak to break water repellency. Water and nutrients can now reach the root zone. This is the step most lawn products skip entirely.

Step 2 — Build the roots
Apply Vital to drive deep root development. Stronger roots mean better moisture access, better nutrient uptake, and a lawn that handles stress the way it should.

Step 3 — Feed the leaf
Apply Surge to the leaf surface. Visible green-up and growth within 5 to 7 days on top of the foundation you've just built.

Most lawn problems aren't what they look like on the surface.

Patchy growth, poor colour, dry edges that won't respond to watering. These look like feeding problems. So people buy a fertiliser, apply it, get a short-lived result, and repeat the cycle. The lawn never really improves because the actual problem — what's happening in the soil underneath — never gets addressed.

The Starter Pack fixes that. Soil first, then roots, then leaf. Used together in the right order, these 3 products do what no single product can.

Application rates

Step 1 — Mix Soak and Vital in your sprayer. Apply evenly. Water in immediately.
Soak: 200ml per 100m2
Vital: 100ml per 100m2

Step 2 — Apply Surge to the leaf surface. Leave 1 to 2 hours before watering in.
Surge: 200 to 500ml per 100m2 (use 500ml for stressed or recovering lawns)

Apply early morning or late afternoon when temperatures exceed 30 degrees. Repeat every 3 to 4 weeks through the growing season.

What to expect

Days 1 to 3: Improved water penetration. Visible the next time you irrigate.
Days 5 to 7: Noticeable green-up and growth response from Surge.
Weeks 2 to 3: Stronger growth as root mass develops.
Weeks 3 to 4 and beyond: Deeper root system established. Improved heat tolerance, drought resilience, and recovery speed that compounds with every application.

Why it works when other products haven't

1. Turf-specific, not agricultural. Most lawn products sold in Australia are agricultural formulations adapted for home use. Every product in the Turf & Surf program is formulated specifically for residential turf. That's why the results are different.

Frequently asked questions

I've tried other products and didn't get results. Why will this be different?
The most common reason other products underperform is hydrophobic soil. Water and nutrients can't reach the root zone no matter what you apply on top. Soak fixes that first. Everything in the Starter Pack is also scientifically formulated for turf, not agriculture. These two things together are why the results are different.

Do I apply all 3 products at the same time?
Soak and Vital can be mixed together and applied in one pass. Apply Surge separately to the leaf. You can do both steps on the same day or on consecutive days.

Will this work on my turf type?
Yes. Works across all common Australian varieties including buffalo, kikuyu, couch, and zoysia.

How long will the pack last?
For a standard 300 to 400m2 lawn, the Starter Pack covers 2 to 3 full applications — a full season of treatment from one pack.

My lawn looks dead. Is it too late?
Usually not. Most Australian lawns that look dead after summer or drought are dormant, not gone. Apply the full Starter Pack and give it 2 to 3 applications over 6 to 8 weeks before writing off any areas.

What's the difference between the Starter Pack and the Full Routine Bundle?
The Starter Pack is the foundation — soil, roots, and fast leaf response. The Full Routine Bundle adds Base and Vivid for the complete program. Start here, upgrade when you're ready.

Is it safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Safe once applied, dried, and watered in — typically a couple of hours after application.
